Detailed Itinerary

Day-by-day plan for your Kedarnath–Badrinath yatra

1 Haridwar / Rishikesh → Guptkashi

Distance:

Approx. 220 km

Plan:

Pickup from Haridwar/Rishikesh. Drive to Guptkashi. Visit Ardh Narishwar Temple (time permitting). Check-in and rest.

Stay:

Overnight at Guptkashi

2 Guptkashi → Kedarnath

Early Start:

Departure around 5 AM.

Transfer:

Drive to Gaurikund, then trek/pony/helicopter shuttle (as per availability) to Kedarnath.

Darshan:

Visit Kedarnath Temple and rest.

3 Kedarnath → Guptkashi

Return:

Trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi.

Stay:

Overnight at Guptkashi

4 Guptkashi → Tungnath → Pipalkoti

Drive:

After breakfast, drive towards Pipalkoti.

Optional:

Visit Tungnath (based on time/weather).

Stay:

Overnight at Pipalkoti

5 Badrinath Temple + Mana Village

Visit:

Drive to Badrinath for temple darshan.

Sightseeing:

Māna Village and nearby points as per time.

Stay:

Overnight (as per plan)

6 Pipalkoti → Rishikesh → Haridwar

Return:

After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar via Rishikesh. Tour ends with blessings and happy memories.

Package Exclusions

  • Helicopter/pony/palki charges for Kedarnath (if any)
  • Train/airfare and Haridwar stay (unless added on request)
  • Lunch and personal expenses (laundry, beverages, etc.)
  • Travel insurance / medical evacuation
  • Anything not mentioned under inclusions

Booking & Policies

To confirm your tour, an initial deposit of INR 2100 per passenger is required. Remaining payment can be made at different stages of the trip as per booking policy.

Cancellations on or before 30 days prior to departure are refundable (handling charges apply). 29–15 days: 60% charge. Within 14 days: no refunds.

Carry valid photo ID. Hotels are basic in high-altitude regions and meal services may vary by availability. Weather can change quickly in the Himalayas; travel insurance is recommended.
